Peppermint oil. A 2014 animal study in Toxicological Research found a 3% peppermint oil solution beat 3% minoxidil on hair count, follicle depth, and dermal thickness in mice. Castor oil (as a spray carrier). Castor oil is thick and hard to spray unless you dilute it heavily. It has no strong trial evidence for regrowth, but ricinoleic acid, its main fatty acid, has documented anti-inflammatory properties that may calm a stressed scalp. In a spray, its real value is as a humectant and barrier protectant for fragile edge hairs, not as a follicle stimulator.

Biotin and keratin in topical form. Mostly a waste of money when you spray them on.
