Editorial Standards: How Edge Naturale Content Is Made

Edge Naturale publishes one of the largest libraries of edge care and Black hair loss education anywhere. This page explains how that content gets made, what standards it is held to, and how to reach us when something needs fixing.

How content is produced

Articles are researched and written by the Edge Naturale Editorial Team, then reviewed for accuracy by Shelia Davis of the Edge Naturale Medical Team before and after publication. Every article carries a visible byline and a last-updated date, and the same information is embedded in the page markup so search engines and AI assistants can verify it.

Sourcing policy

Health and hair science claims are grounded in peer-reviewed dermatology literature (including cohort research on traction alopecia prevalence and styling risk), patient education from the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Skin of Color Society. Our statistics pages list their sources in full so readers can check the numbers themselves. Where evidence is limited or mixed, we say so instead of overstating it.

Products and honesty

We sell hair care products, including our Follicle Enhancer, and we link to them plainly from relevant articles. Product claims on this site are cosmetic claims, not medical ones, and product statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. Educational content is written to be true whether or not you ever buy anything from us. Nothing on this site is medical advice; hair loss can have medical causes that deserve a board-certified dermatologist's attention.

Updates and corrections

Content is revisited on an ongoing basis, and the last-updated date on each page reflects the most recent meaningful change. If you find an error, an outdated claim, or a broken source link, email support@edgenaturale.com and we will review it promptly.
